About Us

The British Language Centre was established in 2008 and opened in 2009 by Redha Alsaegh, Strategic Director and Jo Froggatt, Operational Director.
Our first centre was located in the quiet area of Saraya, Saar and had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Our classrooms were named after places in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, each classroom had a different theme and décor. We often ran exercises in the large study area and in the beautiful garden.

After six months we started the process of building our own centre as we were growing out of this centre.
In April 2010 we relocated to our new purpose built centre in Janabiya, next to Saar Secondary Girls School. Our new centre has excellent facilities, ample parking space and is easy to locate although away from traffic and noise. Classrooms are modern and spacious, we have a study area and canteen and large reception area.
If you haven’t visited us yet, feel free to visit and find out more about the BLC.
